Palo santo, meaning sacred wood, is commonly used for smudging to purify and cleanse a space, person, or thing. It is harvested from the Bursera Graveolens tree in South America.
Each stick is about 4 inches long and is generally medium-sized thickness. Each stick is not exactly the same so in an effort to fulfill orders as accurately to the description as possible two thin sticks may be sold to represent a medium-sized one. A single larger stick is never sold to represent two medium-sized ones.
